Wellbeing Insight Reports – Westfield Health

PDF reports and accompanying web content

Context
As Westfield Health’s Content Designer, I was tasked with growing brand authority and recognition by leading the conversation around workplace wellbeing. A key part of this strategy was to create regular, in-depth reports using original research to share insight and solutions to common challenges in the sector.

What I did

  • Collaborated with the wider marketing team to plan content themes around prominent topics and produce compelling reports into a key discussion area in workplace wellbeing.
  • Presented research from Google search data, the ONS, consumer trends and Westfield Health’s own research bank to explore emerging industry trends and their business impact.
  • Told the story of the research in accessible, engaging language which spoke to the target audience’s needs.
  • Conducted interviews with internal experts to share knowledge and connect with the brand story.
  • Designed reports in InDesign and Canva, including data visualisation and compelling imagery to help guide the narrative.
  • Created accompanying marketing content in a variety of formats, including blog posts and infographics, to help the findings reach a wider audience.
Mental Health First Aid Video Interviews

Videos

Context
As part of a larger campaign for mental health awareness week, I created a video about the value of Mental Health First Aid in the workplace, featuring interviews with colleagues who’ve taken the training course in the past.

What I did

  • Storyboarded the video concept, deciding the appropriate length, format and content to make the subject engaging and relatable.
  • Set up the shoot, including lighting, sound and composition. A casual interview style was chosen to create a warm and approachable tone.
  • Edited the video in Adobe Premiere Rush, combining clips and adding title screens to guide the viewer through the narrative.
  • Worked with the wider Marketing team to plan the video’s integration into social media, blogs and customer comms.
Style Guide – Heritage Doncaster

A working document, with PDF guidelines updated quarterly

Context
After securing funding to open a brand new building, Heritage Doncaster underwent a rebranding project. To accompany the new visual branding documents, I created a style guide outlining the organisation’s written style, content principles and tone of voice.

What I did

  • Set the scope for the document, making sure the information was concise, relevant and engaging for its audience— from complete beginners to experienced curators.
  • Gathered a list of common questions and challenges and to ensure consistency in spelling, grammar and formatting across the organisation.
  • Presented the guide in a clear, quick-reference format to advocate for content best practice while making the guidelines accessible to staff, volunteers and agencies.
  • Designed the style guide to showcase the organisation’s new visual identity and branding.
  • Managed updates and version control.

‘Stories from the Studio’ Exhibition

Museum exhibition (online and in gallery)

Context
While working on a project to digitise an extensive collection of First World War photographs, I was inspired to create an exhibition exploring the stories behind the people in the pictures.

What I did

  • Organised a group of volunteers, training them to scan glass plate negatives to archival standards.
  • Coached the volunteers through the content-creation process, from researching the stories behind the photographs to producing and editing exhibition-ready content.
  • Designed and coordinated the production of exhibition panels and liaised with museum staff to source historical objects relating to the stories on display.
  • Created marketing collateral to advertise the exhibition, which was featured in the local and national press[1].
